You may remember these two from a while back: I snapped a few quick pictures of them and posted them to the blog. Well here is the first part of their engagement shoot.
I originally met Geoff at Biola University, which is where he met Elizabeth, his very very beautiful, sweet, and caring fiancé. Having gone to Biola I can relate to why they wanted their photos taken there; it's an extremely special place in which there is a strong presence of peace.
For Geoff & Elizabeth, I know Biola has been a place of creating beautiful memories: like saying "I love you" and taking their first communion, along with many other sweet moments I'm sure. These are the places in which we really want to remember ourselves and each other. While incredible mountains and scenic landscapes can make for breath taking images, sometimes what is more valuable to us is to be able to vividly remember our lives in the places where we have actually lived them. It's good to keep in mind that photographs aren't only for creating beautiful images, but they are also for remembering the places we have inhabited and the lives we have lived and are living. So here is to Geoff and Elizabeth, to remembering the sweet moments in life and the places which took us to them.
